Dr. Syed Aziz Shah is an Associate Professor at Coventry University’s Research Centre for Intelligent Healthcare. His interdisciplinary work focuses on AI/ML, advanced RF sensor design, and signal processing, primarily for healthcare applications like unobtrusive monitoring of older adults. He is a recipient of the prestigious EPSRC New Investigator Award and was recognized as a UK exceptional talent in 2018 for his pioneering work in wireless sensing for remote patient monitoring. Dr. Shah has secured approximately £0.9M in grants for projects in radar sensing, signal processing for health impacts, and COVID-19 symptom detection. With 100 scientific publications and a strong presence at international conferences, he is also a technical chairperson and distinguished speaker in his field.
